I am Lo Ka Yee, one of the new teachers in Hebron this year. Regarding my duties in this school, I am an English teacher that I teach English to Form one and Form four students, and EPA to 1A and 1B in the second semester. In addition, I am the deputy class teacher of 1D. Life is rather busy in Hebron, but I am happy to see my students making progress in English learning and personal development day by day.
Some students have asked me if I like teaching, and my answer is “Of course, I like it.” Personally, I think teaching is a meaningful job that I do not only transmit knowledge, but also play an important part in nurturing future masters of our society. You might think I am too ambitious, yet this is really how I feel towards my job.
As
an English teacher, what I want to achieve in my job is lead students to a wider
exposure to English language. In fact English is not confined to grammar, there
is always something more interesting and fun in English learning. Student, it is
time to open your heart and mind to have a new look at English.
Thanks…
Teaching in Hebron is one of the greatest joys in my life. Thanks God for leading me to this school and giving me a chance to a deeper understanding of Him. Some of you may have known that I have become a Christian recently. I would be grateful if you can share your knowledge of Christianity with me.
