學會 / 組織簡介： | 香港青年獎勵計劃簡介 The Hong Kong Award for Young People Award A.簡介Introduction 「獎勵計劃的成立 --- 不單為扶持青年人，也為關心青年人的人士而設」 - 獎勵計劃創辦人愛丁堡公爵 "The establishment of the Award is to help both the young as well as those who are concerned for their welfare" - HRH Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip), the founder of The Award 愛丁堡公爵（菲臘親皇）在著名教育家 Dr . Kurt Hahn 及首位帶隊征服額菲爾士峰的運動家韓德勛爵（ Lord Hunt ）的協助下，於1956年在英國創立愛丁堡公爵獎勵計劃。愛丁堡公爵肯定了獎勵計劃的目的是協助青年人善用餘暇去發奮自勵、挑戰自己、服務別人，並作為那些關心青年人發展的團體和人士的指南。 HRH Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip), together with Dr. Kurt Hahn, a famous educationalist, and Lord Hunt, leader of the first team to conquer Mount Everest, founded The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in the U.K. in 1956. It is designed as an introduction to worthwhile leisure time activities, as a challenge to the individual to personal achievement and as a guide for those people and organizations who would like to help the development of their younger fellow citizens. 香港青年獎勵計劃（前身為愛丁堡公爵獎勵計劃，簡稱AYP）於1961年成立，是國際青年獎勵計劃協會成員之一。獎勵計劃擁有一套國際性的嘉許制度，讓14至25歲的年青人透過完成章級要求，培養勇於挑戰及堅毅的精神。 The Hong Kong Award for Young People (AYP), formerly known as The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, established in 1961, is a member of The International Award Association. The AYP, with its unique international principles, cultivates youngsters with perseverance and the spirit of self-challenge. 一直以來，本港的獎勵計劃很榮幸獲得歷屆香港總督及特區行政長官於在位其間出任贊助人及頒發金章獎狀，以表彰得獎者及義工們所付出的努力及貢獻。 AYP is honoured to have the former Hong Kong Governor or the Chief Executive of HKSAR to be our Patron and present Gold Award certificates over the years. The prestigious Presentations have no doubt given due recognition to our Award recipients as well as volunteers. B.計劃內容AYP Programme 三級挑戰 獎勵計劃分為銅章級、銀章級及金章級。只要符合每級的年齡規限，便可順序參加或直接參加某一級別。不同級別，將帶來不同挑戰: Three Levels of Challenge There are 3 levels of award. Participants may either join all 3 levels progressively or start at any level depending on one’s age. The minimum age for entering each level is: 銅章級 – 年齡必須在十四歲或以上 銀章級 – 年齡必須在十五歲或以上 金章級 – 年齡必須在十六歲或以上 Bronze – 14 years Sliver – 15 years Gold – 16 years 參加者必須在二十五歲生日前完成所屬級別之活動，經評定達到章級要求後，便可獲安排出席頒獎典禮，從社會知名人士手中領取獎狀及獎章。 All activities of the respective level have to be completed before their 25th birthday. Upon satisfactory assessment on meeting the Award’s requirements, participants will be invited to a presentation ceremony to receive the Award from the celebrities. C.五科活動5 Sections of Activities 計劃共有五科不同的活動，各章級的參加者都要進行服務科、技能科、野外鍛鍊科及康樂體育科四個科目，金章級參加者另須完成一項團體生活科。 There are 5 Sections of Activities. All participants need to complete 4 sections including Service, Skills, Expeditions and Physical Recreation while Gold Level participants need to complete an additional Residential Project Section. 1.服務科: 鼓勵青年人認識、學習及參與志願服務，培養受之社會、用之社會的服務精神。 1.Service: To learn how to give useful service to others. 2.技能科: 鼓勵青年人發掘及培養個人興趣、社交及實用技能，透過努力不懈的學習，充實自己。 2.Skills: To encourage the development of personal interests and practical skills. 3.野外鍛鍊科: 培養青年人的歷險和探索精神。 3.Expeditions: To encourage a spirit of adventure and discovery. 4.康樂體育科: 鼓勵青年人參與康樂體育活動，以強身健體，並提高自己的技術水平。 4.Physical Recreation: To encourage participation in physical recreation and improvement of performance. 5.團體生活科(只限金章級): 透過參加群體的外宿活動，擴闊個人經驗。 5.Residential Project (Gold level activity): To broaden experience through involvement with others in a residential setting. AYP為青年： 1.豐富「其他學習經歷」(參見「AYP與OLE的配對」 2.增加入大學的機會(參見「大學聯招學生自薦計劃」) 3.提高「學生學習概覽」Student Learning Profile (SLP)的層次 4.培養全人均衡發展，為個人帶來成就感 | |
